There are 236 pieces on permanent display, all part of 36 themes under the overarching theme of Lucerium’s permanent exhibition halls,

There are five permanent exhibition halls in Lucerium: two zones in each of the two permanent exhibition halls, along with the children’s hall.
The first permanent exhibition hall
The first permanent exhibition hall, called “Light and Art,” uses light, the symbol of Gwangju, and art, the symbol of culture, to express their relationship with science.

The second permanent exhibition hall, called “Life and the Future,” presents opportunities to understand scientific phenomena seen in our everyday lives and shows the development path of state-of-the-art space and marine science and technology.

Lucerium Star CarThe Lucerium Star Car is a mobile observatory.
Lucerium currently runs programs that use the Star Car’s astronomical telescope to observe the sun during the day and the stars during the night. -

The hall acts as a venue for all manners of lectures, performances and other events.
